Laboratory Inernship

Our Lab Internships are designed to give young minds in the marine science field a chance to gain hands on experience in mariculture, experimental design, and ex-situ coral restoration techniques.

Program Details

The Save A Coral Laboratory Internship Program is a 1 to 3 month program where interns have the opportunity to participate in land based reef restoration initiatives, expand their knowledge of conservation and marine biology, and gain critical experience with ex-situ coral reef restoration methods. Lab interns manage coral life support systems, collect data for ongoing research initiatives, support our land based nursery operations, participate in outreach events, and work alongside our 3D printing  and marine research teams to innovate new technologies and techniques for coral restoration. This Internship is ideal for those who are not yet scuba certified.
